Research

These are some of the books produced during every TypeMedia year, as a record for the Revival project.

Each of these projects explores a typeface from before 1930. The books document the origins of the typefaces, the people involved in making the type, specimens, sizes. The students seek out primary source materials in libraries, archives and collections. Then they work on a new digital interpretation.

We’re adding titles to this bookshelf, it is not complete. KABK students can access the books in the TypeMedia archive on request.
